Door Options
Extra-Wide Double Door Options
Our standard 48-inch double doors provide easy access for most lawn equipment and storage needs. For customers needing even more clearance, we also offer optional 5-foot (60-inch) and 6-foot (72-inch) double doors.
These wider openings make it much easier to move riding lawn mowers, ATVs, motorcycles, furniture, workbenches, and other large equipment in and out of your building. If you plan to store oversized items or use your shed as a workshop, upgrading to a wider door is a convenient option that adds both accessibility and long-term value.
Vents
Continuous Ridge Vent Option
Our optional continuous ridge vent is installed along the peak of the roof to allow hot air to escape naturally from your portable building. By improving airflow and reducing heat buildup, a ridge vent helps keep the interior cooler during Southeast Texas’ hot summer months while reducing excess moisture and humidity.
When combined with our standard gable vents, a continuous ridge vent creates an even more effective ventilation system, making it an excellent choice for workshops, hobby rooms, lawn equipment, and anything sensitive to heat or moisture.

LP® SmartSide® Engineered Wood Siding
Every Alpine Portable Building is built with LP® SmartSide® engineered wood siding, one of the most trusted siding products available for outdoor buildings. Unlike ordinary particle board or inexpensive composite materials, LP SmartSide is manufactured using advanced engineered wood technology and is specially treated to resist moisture, fungal decay, and termites.

Heavy-Duty Floor System
Every Alpine Portable Building is constructed with a heavy-duty 3/4-inch plywood floor, providing a strong, durable foundation designed for years of dependable use. Unlike thinner floor decking found in some portable buildings, our 3/4-inch plywood offers excellent strength and stability for storing lawn equipment, tools, furniture, appliances, and other heavy items.
To provide even greater support, our floor joists are spaced on 12-inch centers, creating a stronger floor system with less flex and better weight distribution. This closer framing helps ensure your building is ready to handle the demands of everyday use while providing a solid, reliable floor you can count on.

16 Inch on Center Wall Framing

Every Alpine Portable Building is constructed with wall studs spaced 16 inches on center—the same standard spacing commonly used in residential home construction. This proven framing method creates strong, solid walls that provide excellent support for shelving, cabinets, pegboards, and other storage accessories.
